Meet our Medical Director
Dr. Yusuke Honda aims to make the clinic a place where children, adults and their families can comfortably discuss ear, nose and throat concerns.
Dr. Yusuke Honda
ENT specialist, listed in the specialist directory of the Japanese Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Honda became Medical Director in April 2026, after working in ENT departments in Fukuoka, Saga and Nagasaki. His experience as a parent and as a patient with eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis informs his approach to care.
Our approach to care
- Listening to how symptoms affect sleep, school, work and everyday life.
- Taking the concerns of children and their families seriously.
- Supporting people living with persistent symptoms and the practical challenges of treatment.
A message to our community
In October 2025, I began providing care at this clinic as a covering doctor after my father, the former director Kazuyuki Honda, became ill. I took over as director in April 2026.
I am grateful to the local community for supporting the clinic through this change. I hope to build on our longstanding connection with Nishijin and provide approachable care for patients of all ages.

Personal experience and evidence-based decisions
Parenting and living with sinus disease inform how Dr. Honda listens to patients. Personal experience does not establish how well a treatment will work for someone else. Care decisions consider the individual examination and medical evidence.
